I got the finished art for one of the games back and I finished up the placeholder version of another. Only three games to go!
Woke up, finished up game #6, chugged a Monster energy drink, and now I’m ready to finish up these last four games…
Current progress of game #6 for the Ludum Dare miniLD and Pirate Kart events. This one has a way to go but should be pretty cool once I finish it up. It’s same-keyboard multiplayer and you race to see who can chop down the most trees.
Two more games finished up and waiting final art assets. I met my goal of 5 for today but I might try to get one more in so my weekend goal of 10 will be a bit easier to finish up tomorrow…
I suggested a theme with maybe a man versus a robot, or perhaps pirates versus ninjas. This is what I get back…
After telling myself I needed to make games that were very simple to reach my goal of ten games, I made the most complex one yet. You try to take pictures of the Loch Ness Monster and can choose different locations to take photos from. Photos are graded on accuracy and how much of the creature’s head was above the water. It also remembers your highscore.
I got the art back for my Minesweeper clone, the artist took some creative initiative and changed it into a litterbox simulator…
Finished up my first game for the miniLD competition. It took me a bit under 1 hour and 45 minutes but I’m hoping some of the next games I work on will go a bit quicker. This one is a Minesweeper clone with 4 different difficulty settings. I’m going to have someone fix up the art so it actually looks good too…
